Elevate Your Diving: SDI Advanced Adventure
Ready to move beyond the basics? This course is designed for any certified Open Water diver who wants to build confidence, explore new environments, and sample the best of what scuba has to offer. You don't need to be "advanced" to start—you can dive right in immediately after your initial certification!
The Experience
Under the expert guidance of a Letts Dive Instructor, you’ll complete five Adventure Dives.

Prerequisites & Logistics

Age: 18+ (10-17 with parental consent). Note: Junior divers (10-15) have a depth limit of 21m/70ft and specific specialty restrictions.

Certification: SDI Open Water (or equivalent).

Location: We offer "local" training at Lake Denton and Hudson Grotto, or coastal trips to Key Largo. (Note: Key Largo trips include charter fees; local classes require a 4-person minimum).
Requirements & Deadlines

Deadline: Register at least one week prior.

Preparation: All forms and eLearning (approx. 8-12 hours) must be finished 3 days before class.

Medical: If a physician's sign-off is required, it must be submitted 3 days before start.

Important: Failure to complete prep on time results in a $150 rescheduling fee.
Gear Up
You are required to have the following personal life-support and safety gear:

Standard Gear: Mask (non-mirrored), Snorkel, Fins (scuba-grade), Boots, BCD, and Regulator.

Tech/Safety: Dive Computer, Compass, Logbook, Cutting Tool, Whistle, and DSMB with Reel.

Exposure: Appropriate protection for local conditions (Gloves recommended for Key Largo mooring lines).
