Your Path to Becoming SDI
Crossing over to SDI is a simple, streamlined process designed to help experienced dive professionals transition smoothly into the SDI family. You’ll begin by connecting with an Instructor Trainer or SDI representative who will guide you through registration, materials, and the professional benefits of becoming an SDI Divemaster or Instructor.
After creating or accessing your SDI account, you’ll complete the required eLearning program and participate in a crossover seminar reviewing SDI Standards, procedures, teaching philosophy, and professional resources. Once complete, you’ll finalize your paperwork and officially join one of the world’s leading scuba training organizations.
