Our scheduled specialty courses are designed based on a minimum of 4 people in a class

However, ALL of our Specialty Courses can be taught 1 on 1 (or as a couple) on your schedule for the most part (depending on Charter availability and pool/facility schedules).  There is an additional charge for Private or Semiprivate Specialty Course Instruction.

For all Specialty Courses you are required to have your own Personal Gear (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, SMB or DSMB).

Additionally, you must have, purchase or rent the following equipment/gear/accessories (there are some items we do not rent):  

• BCD
• Regulator set with SPG and depth gauge or better (i.e. A.I. computer/transmitter) 
• Audible emergency surface signaling device (whistle)
• Visual emergency surface signaling device (DSMB) and reel
• Adequate exposure protection for local dive conditions.
• Cutting tool
• Timing device and RDP or Dive computer
• Dive computer
• Gloves
• Compass
• Writing dive slate

Specialized equipment/accessories may be also required for the Specialty Course you are taking.  Some of these things can be rented (based on availability) and others must be purchased:

EXAMPLES:

• Night Specialty - Need to purchase a primary light, back up dive light, and tank light or marker
• Digital Underwater Photographer/Videographer - Purchase or rent (as available) an Underwater Camera
• Dry Suit Specialty - Need to purchase a Dry Suit
• Full Face Mask Specialty - need a full-face mask
• Dive Propulsion Vehicle - need to rent or purchase a DPV

Sidemount, cavern, and other classes also may require the purchase of additional equipment
