PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Includes AOW eLearning and AOW data carrier slate
Availability: In Stock
You don’t have to be “advanced” to take this course – you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
This course helps build your confidence, knowledge and expand your scuba skills through five different Adventure Dives. You will try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your Letts Dive PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
The Advanced Open Water class has two required dives, Deep and Navigation. You will then have three additional dives to round out your experience. We do have dives that we recommend based on our dive locations and site limitations/capabilities, as well as your input and dive wishes and goals.
Additionally, each Adventure Dive can be used toward the first dive of each of the corresponding PADI Specialty Course (including Deep and Navigation Specialties). If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit towards your Advanced Open Water certification as an Adventure Dive.
YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR THIS CLASS NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF THE CLASS – Forms and eLearning must be done three days prior to the first night of class. The eLearning may take you 8 to 12 hours or more to complete. Additionally, if there are any reasons that you would need to get a physician to sign your medical release for the course this must also be done by three days before the first date of class.
If the eLearning or forms are not completed prior to the start of the class, you will need to be rescheduled to another class and a $100 rescheduling fee will be assessed.
