Riviera Beach (and the greater West Palm Beach area) is considered the drift diving capital of Florida. The crystal blue waters of the Gulf Stream dip closest to Florida at Singer Island in Riviera Beach, which creates a mild current (1 knot average) running parallel to the wrecks and reef lines. The gentle current allows divers to drift effortlessly along all the dive sites with very little energy expended.
